Upgrades Project 

*** The Lantern Hill Road Bridge is closed until Spring 2026. Check for updates on the Ledyard Town Public Works website -  https://www.ledyardct.org/277/Roadwork-Notices

 Installation of the substructure for the new bridge, called micropiles, is taking place on both sides of the old bridge. The project is on track for completion in Spring 2026. 

The Lantern Hill Valley Alliance thanks Senator Cathy Osten and the State of Connecticut for their support in securing funding for the crucial first phase of infrastructure upgrades in Lantern Hill Valley. We also appreciate the Town of Ledyard and Public Works Director Steve Masalin for their leadership and dedication to making this project a success.

*** The design phase of the Long Pond and Bush Pond dams/ dike/ and culverts continues.
